Caroline Alianiello

PERINATAL PSYCHOTHERAPIST

About Caroline

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience in various types of direct mental health care. I specialize in supporting women throughout the perinatal spectrum, from preconception and fertility through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting. I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can heal, grow, and thrive.

I am deeply committed to equipping you with the insights, tools, and support you need to lead a healthy and meaningful life. I recognize the courage it takes to begin or continue your therapy journey, and I am here to meet you with an open heart and an attentive ear. I believe in getting to know you as a whole person—your unique experiences, thoughts, feelings, and concerns—so that together we can create a path toward healing and empowerment.

CORE VALUES

Nurture, Authenticity, Connection, Curiosity, & Depth

What is it like to work with me?

My hope is that this space feels like it’s truly for you—a rare and much-needed experience for so many mothers and women across the perinatal spectrum. Our time together will be genuine, conversational, and may include a touch of humor when needed. I bring a trauma-informed, person-centered, and psychodynamic approach to therapy, blending in evidence-based techniques and interventions tailored to your individual goals and needs. Above all, my goal is for every session to leave you feeling supported, understood, and met with safety, empathy, and non-judgment.

Why this work?

I became a perinatal therapist to support those I revere and admire most in our society.  I am honored to nurture the nurturer and help bring visibility to the often-overlooked challenges that many women navigate.

“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.”
